I would like to share the wonderful experience that I have had over the many years that I have been with The Wired Mouse of Asheville.
I have been a client of The Wired Mouse since 2004. At that time I still had my first laptop computer, a Dell, who's award winning tech support was less than desirable. I was about going bald from pulling my hair out while working with phone techs in India, when I received a referral to The Wired Mouse from another computer tech. The Dell tech support was covered under an extended warranty, but I happily paid out of pkt for the infinitely more competent service I received from The Wired Mouse. At that time, the staff consisted of the owner, Todd Carriker, and one tech.
I am a loyal customer, and i am always grateful when i find a business that takes care of me with the level of expertise and service i have received over the years at The Wired Mouse. so at this point i will not let anyone else touch my computer. The techs at The Wired Mouse have serviced 3 laptop computers, four printers and a projector. They have purchased for me several pieces of equipment, including 2 laptops, 1 printer and a projector. All of the equipment they have selected for me has perfectly suited my needs.
I began using their IT and web design expertise in 2005 when i put up my website, www.BartlettAcupuncture.com. The Wired Mouse optimized the site so that I have remained on the top of the first page of Google since inception. Their web design staff take care of the continual website updates. The Wired Mouse hosts the site and created a simple shopping cart so that I can sell my product, Flying Dragon Liniment. The Wired Mouse has walked me through setting up my blog, Cultivating Health with Chinese Medicine, and has matched the header of my blog and newsletter to my website for a continuous look. They have linked my various social media accounts to my website menu.
Last year I began using their Data Backup service after my data grew too large to continue backing up on a DVD. The techs set it up to automatically backup daily, provided my computer is turned on and connected to the Internet.
I have developed an immense amount of trust and confidence with the knowledgeable and courteous & friendly staff, which I have happily watched grow over the years.
However, it is my latest experience which prompts me to write this missive. Last week my hard drive crashed, just before a long, holiday weekend. I bought in my laptop when the shop opened Tuesday morning. One of their staff greeted me at the door. I was expecting to be out of commission for a week to 10 days, either getting a new hard drive and reloading all of the software and peripherals, or purchasing a new computer. Either way, the scenario seemed grim.
Amazingly the guys had the computer back to me at the end of the day, with a new hard drive and everything exactly as it was before the crash. This seamless transition occurred due to the data back-up and a clone which they had taken the last time i had the computer in for repairs. I have many customized settings, all of which were restored along with my software, thanks to the clone. What could have been a disaster was nothing more than a minor inconvenience.
I cannot say how thankful I am to be able to rely on the superior service from The Wired Mouse. They take my calls immediately and handle whatever tech questions and needs arise. As technology has become an integral part of my business life, disruptions prevent me from operating smoothly. The staff at The Wired Mouse keeps this part of my business running like a Timex watch.
